I think one of the other reason why I enjoyed your art so much other then the slap silly humor and wits you produced, was the coloring and finish of the said pieces.
Such as this. The refinery in this finishing piece has a small and slight overtone to the oriental calligraphy and finish.
You pretty much capture the souls with your work.

reminds me a lot of japanese anime. not like sailormoon or pikachu stuff but like totoro. the drawing is so real but the shading doesn't blend like real life - just like japanese art! great effects and i love the color blends. 
there's so much going on in this simple piece. the best type there is!

first thing i did was fill everything with a base colour.
no shading or anything. just plain shades of brown.
for objects that were furthest i made them a light shade
and then made the closer ones a darker shade
after that i used a regular brush tool to make shading on one side of the objects
