While Cisco prefers to stay in the background and tries to draw nobody's attention he still stands out to most others in his own ways. He's struggling to understand and react especially to other's emotions, mimic and body language which has caused a deep insecurity in him after being seen as a "weirdo" for so long by lots of others his age. Now that he's maturing he works hard on fitting in a little more, yet at the same time accepting that he's different and he is indeed improving quickly, also thanks to his supportive mother and friends. Among the herd members Cisco's well-accepted and has finally started to be himself at least around there, even if he's not always easy; he can beg for your attention and fully enjoy your company in one second, in the other desperately wants to be alone. And while Cisco is a very honest and loyal friend - who would never let his close ones down - to the few he trusts, he regularely gives even those a hard time with his constant mood changes combined with his energetic and impulsive manner that not rarely leads him into actions he quickly feels bad for. Because he sometimes fears that others talk about him behind his back or that his friends might leave him one day, he often acts very possessively about them and becomes jealous very easily, which is why he needs very patient and understanding friends who know how to walk the fine line of strict love.

Past

Cisco was born and grew up in the DawnShadows which he still calls his home. His father died in the middle of his mother Sunset's pregnancy of a meningitis and because he was her first child, it was just him and her for a long time. He enjoyed getting her full attention and support at any time. Along with him two other foals were born in the herd; Echnaton and Black Betty, who he grew up and over the years bonded closely with. When his mother got pregnant with her second child, a filly called Mika, he fell into a hole though, telling himself that she was Sunset's favorit child because she was "normal" and he wasn't, but while Sunset made sure he wouldn't feel neglected he never quite got used to Mika, so their relationship was never more than neutral.

As Cisco grew up he got trained as a warrior, a role that gave him the confidence and appreciation that he needed to feel better about himself, yet caused some sort of rivalry between his best friend Echnaton and Cisco, at least in his eyes. He was sick of feeling like the second choice all the time but he never quite stood a chance against Echnaton who, due to his half demon blood, was always stronger than him. Their friendship suffered for some time in their younger years, but the feeling that he had to prove something to someone subsided as Cisco grew older and more mature and he soon understood that his friendship to Echnaton was worth a lot more than being the best at something. He generally changed through his puberty. It became easier for Cisco to adjust to changes, so when his mother fell in love with one of the two new stallions that joined the herd when Cisco was around four years old he quickly accepted the new man, Coby, by his mother's side. More than that - he made friends with Coby's son Dano who happened to be the new boyfriend of his ex Aurumm who he, even after the break-up, maintained good contact with also.

Apart from Aurumm Cisco has never had a serious relationship but lots and lots of affairs and one night stands that, from an early age on, ended in many foals he tries to care for as much as their mothers let him or want him to. He's not quite ready to fully trust a girl enough to get into a relationship but this never bothered him. He rather focuses on his roles as a warrior and father and wants to work on himself more before he starts to share his life with someone else.

I adopted him from Dark-Mare910 in 2009 and designed Sunset just for that sake.
This makes him one of my oldest characters on dA
He used to be my most popular stud furing every breeding season I held, but most of his foals have been neglected and/or their owners left dA
Even though he used to have so, so many offsprings I only owned one who I unfortuanelty never clicked with and therefore... Killed.
