"Ok, are you guys ready to go?" River asked the newly joined couple.

"Yes; we're ready." Jeremy replied.

"Ok; everyone on board!"

Several months had passed. It was late summer, and Sheila and Jeremy had just gotten married, Magi proudly having administered the joining. Sheila was wearing a simple white cotton dress and the enchanted necklace while her groom also wore a simple outfit of a white shirt with dark blue jacket and pants. Linda and Kevin wore similar outfits, dressed like miniature versions of their family members.

River had decided to give her friends a treat and had painstakingly added five small seats and handles to the back of one of her old jerkins in just the right size for Sheila's family. She had also added several leather straps on the side to secure luggage; however River had only attached a pair of bed rolls.

The dragon had informed the couple and their family of the mystery honeymoon trip the night before. Even though she had volunteered to watch the Linda and Kevin, Sheila insisted that the kids should have the chance to get away from the humble lake too.

River laid on the ground to allow her passengers to board. The destination was known only to the dragon.

And so all four family members climbed aboard the dragon's back and took their seats: Jeremy and Sheila in the front and Linda and Kevin took the back. The chairs were not much more than old saddles with leather handles attached at the sides, leather straps acting as seat belts.

Once everyone had taken their seats, River leaned back to examine her passengers. Her voice sounded like that of a pilot as her voice echoed back to those gathered on her.

"Is everyone secure? I don't need my little snacks falling off in flight."

"Yeah, were ready." Jeremy chuckled as he looked around at his family.

"Alright; hang tight."

The dragon started at a loping run as she took flight. Once above the trees she turned to the west as the miles were devoured by the seemingly slow motion of her wings. River spent most of the day flying as the forest gave way to cliffs and a shimmer could be seen on the horizon. As they got closer that glimmer slowly but surely took on a new form: the ocean.

River landed on the long stretch of beach and crouched to allow her passengers to depart. "Ok, get off before I take you off." She instructed, entirely liking having to be the transport for the smaller beings.

"Hey now, this was your idea." The groom reminded her.

"Yes, you didn't have to do this; but thank you." Sheila said as she climbed down.

"Don't make me regret it." The dragon warned. "Otherwise you might have to walk back."

She then looked back, frowning as two smaller gazed back at her.

"I said get off you two." She ordered, addressing Kevin and Linda. However the kids just shook their heads with smiles ear to ear.

"Ok, fine."

River stood up, took off the jerkin and, to the protests of the kids, carried it inside out leaving the children and bedrolls inside like a sack. "You guys have fun." She said addressing the happy couple. "I'll take these little morsels out of your hair."

"Thank you again, River." Sheila said. "Just don't do anything I wouldn't do!"

"Are you sure that was the right thing to say?" The dragon chuckled as she walked down the beach, away from the newly married couple. The dragon was soon out of site as she followed the shore with her bundle in tow, a great pink tongue passing over her lips as she gazed eagerly down at her "luggage."

After the couple made sure that the other were out of sight Jeremy and Sheila then started taking off their garments and placed them near the cliffs. Wearing nothing but moonlight Shelia waded out into the surf, letting the water lap at her ankles. The cold water caused goose bumps to appear on her skin but she shrugged them away, glad to be among the waves again.

"So..." sighed Jeremy as he put him arms around his wife "now we are alone on the beach during our honeymoon, whatever shall we do?"

Sheila turned her head and gave him a sly look. "I have a few ideas..." He didn't notice her necklace as it began to glow.

After River felt that she was a good distance away from the happy couple she promptly dropped her bundle on the sand and laid on her back beside it. Due to the limited size of the beach, her lower legs stuck out into the surf. Before long the kids found their way out of the pile of leather.

"Ah good, there you are." The dragon grinned. "I could use a snack after such a long flight." River reached to pluck the morsels from the beach but they were too quick. Kevin yelled and dived back underneath the jerkin and Linda ran to the surf. Before the girl could get far River's tail snaked out and wrapped around her.

"Hey, that s not fair!" she yelled at her godmother.

"I didn't say I would play fair." The dragon admitted as she plucked the girl from her tail and playfully licked the her catch. "Now be a good little girl and get in your room."

"That's not my room!" Linda yelled as the dragon opened her mouth and tossed her in.

"It is now." The dragon said as she ran her tongue over the girl's body. "Hmm… it's missing something..." River then lifted up her jerkin revealing Kevin from his hiding place. She quickly used her other hand to grab the boy from the ground. "Ah, just what I needed." Despite Kevin's protests the dragon sent him to join his step sister.

River lay back down with her hand behind her head as she enjoyed the taste of her godchildren. However, after a few moments, her stomach let out a growl. The dragon let out a sigh and removed the now drenched kids. "I've got to go get some real food. I'll be back." She said before taking off above the cliffs

"So.. what do we do now?" asked a very wet Kevin.

"Well do you want to play in the water?" asked Linda.

"Yeah!"

The boy ran back under the giant garment and eagerly removed the two bedrolls. After laying out their items the duo quickly changed into more suitable and dry cloths.

After about an hour River made her way back to the beach with a small deer. She didn't see the kids playing in the water or the sand, which left only one spot where they could be. After landing she spoke. "Oh no. My poor little snack are nowhere in sight. I wonder where they could be…"

Then she lifted up the jerkin. "Gotcha!" she yelled; but they were not there. This extremely baffled the dragon. Once again she scanned the water, but nothing indicated were they could be. However their bedroll's had been pulled out and she saw their worn cloths among the items. "Kevin? Linda?" she called "You guys can come out now! I've brought you dinner."

No response.

"Linda! Kevin! This isn't funny!" Still no response. "Shit." She muttered. "Sheila's gonna kill me."
