With a plan in mind to ultimately crush his NATO rivals in Europe once and for all while local volunteer and support forces alongside Arab Socialists and Communist dealt with the Ummah, Stalin had ordered a quick advance and victory to secure most of mainland Europe before the Americans and British would even be able to react. To do so the Red Army planned to use the North German plain as am ideal ground for their mechanized units. The main problem however came in central Germany, were the Fulda Gap with main US Air Force base near Frankfurt presented a threat to these plans. The plan was therefore to grab as much land as possible quick enough before NATO reinforcements arrived in Mainland Europe. The Soviets unlike NATO also assumed that nuclear strike against Poland would be used to stop their reinforcement line and that limited nuclear strikes against Denmark, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium, who all lacked their own nuclear weapons to respond directly unlike Britain and the Americans could be a possible way to clear the path for their forces, which would then be supported by East German, Polish and Czechoslovak forces as flanking cover and supported. At the same time as these central European Nuclear Strike, surprised nuclear attacks on Austria were meant to cripple the country and the limited armed forces the Austrians had, so that East Austrinas and Hungarian forces could rush in to overrun the country and threaten southern Germany from there. Most of Austria was quickly overrun and the Socialists and Communist in the South to Italy were unlikely to intervene against the Red Army and most likely stay neutral. The Soviet General Staff plan to reach the Rhine river in seven days and cover a distance of around 400 km was not only ambitious, but unrealistic. With German and NATO airbases and planes in Germany destroyed during the first strike and the early days France as a potential nuclear power with the capacity to stop the Red Army, secretly had been in a secret pact with the Soviet Union to claim the French Rhine border and eliminate the threat Germany posed once and for all. Their goal was to eliminate any potential for these areas to be used as air and naval bases for NATO in the conflict and within a months the Rhine was reached by Russians and French forces. Austria had been overrun, as did much of Germany and the Serbians and Hungarians had invaded and occupied Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia in the same time, even if major local resistance movements still remained in most of these places. Stalin had green-lit the invasion knowing to well that by now the Moscow Pact had double the infantry and two to three times the vehicles and equal air capacities then the NATO in Europe, some of it with advanced alien technology. With the northern Norwegian islands and Northern Norwegian and Swedish land secured by Red Navy as well, quickly most of Europe’s most populated and industrial regions would lay in the hands of Stalin. Everything seamed to work good so far, but the Americans suddenly retaliated with tactical nuclear weapons in Central Europe, weakening Soviet Red Army and French Communist forces alike for their invasion and liberation into western Europe. They also attacked the southern and eastern Asia from allied bases in pro-American nations. Much to Stalin’s horror some of this American nuclear strikes, especially that against Vladivostok used Naquadah enhanced Nuclear weapons to annihilate Red Army and Red Navy bases there quickly and efficiently, proving the United States had their own Stargate Program and already gained some experience and technology from their own program. With the whole European Invasion turning into a Third World War, a nuclear one that escalated, Stalin himself used a secret weapon of his own, the Time Travel Jumper they had gained on an alien world for him and a few of his top generals and scientists to travel back in time before the Red Army Invasion of Europe and this Third World War, knowing now that despite his advantages, a too direct approach meant that he still could loose, or at least only rule over destroyed ruins, so Stalin kept closer to the meas of winning over Western Europe and North America trough political means and internal weakening of his enemies and opposition there.
