Description
Known to the Greek/ Hellenic and Latin/ Roman Goa’uld Domains as the Amphora/ Amphore, a racial slur because of their Amphora-like head forms, the species mainly serving as traders and merchants out of their homeworld Conum/ Konom and system, rumored to be related to the Badawie called themselves Conus/ Konos, most likely in reference to the Goa’uld System Lord Cronus/ Cronos/ Kronus, in whose domain their homeworld and system was located. Weather they truly were related to Badawie, or a species the Asgard or others had once experimented upon, the Conus/ Konos humanoids in general had an elongated head, a heightened intellect and brain mass and were known to possess no hair at all anywhere on their body. Outside of Conum/ Konom, the Conus/ Konos preferred turban-like, or head-scarf like headgear, wrapped around their elongated heads to not look to suspicious to many human Tar and human Jaffa from afar with their elongated naked skulls, but for the same reason they openly and proudly often presented themselves without this item of clothing in their own homesystem and homeworld respectively. Despite using their skills overwhelmingly to rely on their superior intellect, not all Conus/ Konos inside and outside the Goa’uld Empire however seek economic, trade, or civil administrative roles and positions, some also work in the military, often in bounty hunter and mercenary position, from officers, to local commanders. While extremely rare, a few Conus/ Konos Primi (Primus) had also been known throughout the local Goa’uld history under Goa’uld System Lords like Cronus, Zeus, Mars and Jupiter, as well as a few minor Lords and Ladies. Some of these in high ranking economic, trade, administrative and military positions even managed to keep them when the Goa’uld Empire fell, with some later joining the Avalon Trade Company, the Lucian Alliance, or other new rising worlds, species, powers and overall factions, which was how they could also be found on Spaceport World like Charos in service of the Lucian Alliance. During her travels, Vala Mal Doran encountered a few members of this species, albeit rarely and only in small numbers, or overall individuals. Because of their lack of hair and rather baggy or wide clothes, distinguishing a male, or female Conus/ Konos was not always easy for outsiders and other humanoids, despite females being in general smaller, shorter and with a tinier, more compact cone head top.

This smaller head and skull form however did not effect the female Conus/ Konos cooling, heating, or overall intellect in any measurable way, shape, or form. Most Conus/ Konos in military positions wore Boeotian/ Kegel/Pilos/ Phrygian Helmets, Montefortino Helmets, Khedival and Khepresh Helmets, that best fit their overall head and skull forms and even later individually operating ones had armored helmets and uniform pieces best accustomed for their special oval heads. Some also used and later kept Elite Jaffa Guard Helmets with a similar fitting form and purpose, while others would adopt, or outright pay for their very own versions. Overall most of the Conus/ Konos own military gear and armor, as well as civil clothes, was in it’s majority very clearly Latin/ Roman and later Greek/ Hellenic Goa’uld rule inspired, or at least somewhat influenced, with small remnants of their very own previous culture, society, religions, customs, architecture and clothes mixed in with that dominant godly rule given ones later on. While outside their homeworld and home system of Conum/ Konom very rarely encountered by most species and individuals, those who have had Conus/ Konos on their sides were often impressed with their sharp minds in nearly any given situation, while those operating on the other side of them, often found themselves outsmarted and outskilled on a mental capacity unknown to many regular human Tar and human Jaffa. At the very same time Conus/ Konos were not very strong and the average human, let alone and Jaffa was stronger then them in nearly every physical way possible, which beside their superior mind was another reason why they disliked direct confrontation and combats, unless a special armor, weapon, trick or other advantage would even the playing field of such an encounter drastically for them and this way ensure they would have an overall advantage. As a result of their talents, Conus/ Konos were highly sought after in every field they exceeded regular human Tar and human Jaffa frequently.
