It was raelly refreshing, and surprising. I did the polar bear swim a couple of times (going swimming in the ocean on Jan 1st) but this was very nice. Definitely not uncomfortable.

LOL yes sitting in a stream in a cocktail dress is definitely on my list of things to do LOL I think the incongruity of the dress and the water makes these pictures look very elegant - they remind me of the picture of Elvis Costello (?) standing in a pool waist deep in a tuxedo with a microphone
Eeeesh! Polar bear swim! In Canada no less!!! Brrrr! My crazy friends went and did it in Atlantic City the other year but I was too chicken. I just clapped for them and then helped drink the booze. I put my feet in the water for 5 minutes and my nails went blue! LOL
