Description
As Peter Parker, he is the son of brilliant scientists Richard and Mary Parker. At the age of four, Peter was sent to live with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben while his parents were away. But Richard and Mary soon died in a plane crash, along with close friends Mr. and Mrs. Brock.Peter grew up living happily with his aunt and uncle and developed a keen interest in Science and Technology. In childhood, he became good friends with Eddie Brock and Gwen Stacey. Later, he attended Midtown High School and was "Midtown High's most prodigal student", with a super genius IQ level. However, he was quite shy, clumsy, sensitive and easily picked on, mostly by former bulling high school football quarterback Eugene "Flash" Thompson.
Becoming Spider-Man: One day, on a trip to a genetics exhibit at Dr. Conner's lab, Peter noticed one of fifteen genetically-engineered spiders missing from its cage, and upon landing on his hand, bit him. It was then that Peter's spider-like abilities begin to show. While walking home, a group of street juveniles attacked him and he unknowingly sensed every attack and dodged with his reflexes, mistakenly taking out all the thugs. He next discovered was he could stick to walls with his hands, leap at great lengths, has superhuman strength and his own organic web from his wrist.
Wanting to make up for the times his aunt and uncle raised and treated him as their own child, Peter sought to compete in a wrestling match to earn money with his newfound abilities, wearing a mask to conceal his identity(the classic Spider-Man suit). However, though easily defeated every opponent, the promoter gave him a very small amount of the money he was advertising. Angered by this, Peter walked away, then a TV producer came and offered him a spot on his TV show. Just then, a burglar robbed the promoter's money and Peter, not knowing any better, allowed him to escape, thinking it wasn't his problem and walked away with the producer's offer.
As Spider-Man, Peter was a major citywide celebrity, became more and more egotistical and self-centered. But then, one night upon coming home, the same robber from the wrestling arena, whom Peter didn't stop that day, broke into their house, stealing money, threatening to kill aunt May and stabbed uncle Ben with a knife. Devastated, Peter went after the killing robber and turned him over to the police. Feeling guilty, he gave up the limelight and devoted himself to fighting crime, learning at that very moment, "Great power comes with great responsibility".
From then on, Peter uses his powers to make New York a safer place as Spider-Man, with a devices that he created to instantly change into my new "Extreme costume". He still gets excellent grades in high-school and prefers the company of teachers, as well as close friends Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborne, Randy Robertson, Eddie Brock and even former bully Flash Thompson. Despite his reputation as a "nerd", both Mary Jane Watson and Liz Allen are attracted to him. He even worked part time for the Daily Bugle , even putting up with his harsh superhero criticizing boss J. Jonah Jameson .
