Four teenage girls from Beverly Hills, California, work as undercover secret agents.

Clover is the some-what leader of the group; she is a valley girl who enjoys shopping, fashion, and dating good-looking guys. She is not only athletic and strong, but also impulsive and spontaneous. Of the other three girls, she is the most expressive with the Beverly Hills teenage fashionista attitude, with a strong valspeak dialect, being the first to court the newest available good-looking boy. She has short blonde hair, blue eyes and wears a red suit.

Sammy is the intellectual figure of the group; she acts as a rational logical thinker in getting through the problems they encounter on their missions. She thinks up plans and diversions so that the girls can defeat the villains, stop their heinous plots and escape from their deadly traps. She has long red hair, green eyes and wears a green suit.

Alex is the tomboy of the group, serving as the glue that holds their friendship together. She is affectionate and likes to express her feelings. She likes animals, except for cats, and enjoys sports. She is the most naïve, clumsy and absent-minded of the others, sometimes interpreting figures of speech too literally. She has short black hair, brown eyes, dark skin, and wears a yellow suit.

and Britney is a former new spy. She has long, dark-bluish/black hair and violet eyes, and her uniform is blue. She quickly befriends Clover when she says that she is the captain of her high school's cheerleading squad, and Sam when she says she loves playing chess; however, her introduction to WOOHP and her immediate competence and leadership as an agent makes Alex jealous. After an accomplished mission, Britney and Alex become friends, having common interests such as favorite movie actors.
