Ok, so I wanted to draw something cool while here at college, and my drawing class seems to want me to draw fifty billion boxes. So I decided to start my own project in my free time.

I originally wasn't sure what to draw, and I was in the middle of rereading the mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. So I drew a scene from Well of Ascension, the second book in the series. One of my favorite characters is TenSoon, a sort of shape shifter. He's the dog in the forground. I started by drawing him and sort of formed everything else around him.

I hate drawing shingles. Making that roof to look right was a pain. Yeesh.

I tried to draw Vin a whole bunch of times. Each time I tried to draw her body, it always failed. Then I had the bright idea of having her body shrouded by the mistcloak so much that you can't actually see much of her body. Nerf nerf nerf!

There has always been a good mental image in my head of what the mist looks like. I was unable to draw it correctly, and what I have seems a bit chaotic to me, but I guess I'll live. It looks ok enough.
