I finally saw Bumblebee the other night and ohmygosh I’m still gushing over it! I actually got a little weepy watching it because 8 year old me wanted a movie like this so badly!!Best Transformers movie, hands down! (´∀｀)♡

I really gotta give it a try! Kinda lost interest once the franchise started fo exaggerate (Robo dinos rip) but seems like Bumblebee was a really good movie from what I hear!

Of course, he is. The whole movie was about that. One reviewer said the chemistry was “unintentionally creepy.” First, it wasn’t creepy. Second, it definitely was not unintentional.

That scene reminded me of the 2005 King Kong remake by Peter Jackson. There were quite a few reviewers who did not get that the relationship between Ann and Kong was meant to code as romantic. Those who only kind of got that called it “ambiguous.” It might have been ambiguous a bit earlier in the movie, but the scene where they slip and slide on the ice in Central Park basically said, “If you don’t get that this is a romance, this should be a rather blatant clue.” Ann is even lit in golden light at points. And some people still managed not to get it.
This movie is a romance through and through. They just need to pay it off in the sequel.
