Shelly, this is really outstanding. I love when there is context or a bit of a story to a piece. The viewer can take a lot from this painting. Elbows are a tricky thing to paint at that angle, but it looks realistic with the subtle light and dark. Of course I love the heroine, but the background is very interesting too; like is that the future or a grim new reality? Any who, great job!
