Okay, this is my latest papercutting, and by far the most detailed. There were a lot of little cuts in there. It's done from a drawing I found surfing around. Anyway, I'm looking for some creative input. Should I leave the background black or should I cut her away from the black and put her on a white or other color background? Please, any input would be appreciated!Related content

The wings are really impressive! I like the black, but wonder how it would look with a color other than white in the background.
What type of paper are you using? The level of detail and fine lines is pretty incredible, I'm impressed the paper held.

I, amazingly enough, just use black construction paper. It's what I always use to cut from, unless there is more white, like with the zebra. Then when I'm finished I glue them down to 95lb card stock. Before I started cutting this particular one I glued two pieces of the black together just to make it a bit more sturdy since the cuts were going to be so intricate...
