Description I'm back.

Sorry. I left dA for a long time because I had taken a lot of time for drawing a manga of doujinshi (a self-published book). I completed my work four days ago and it was already submitted to a printing office. I will take part in an event where armature manga writers sell their books. It will open 6th October. My manga will be published in a doujin-book of a circle which my best friend sponsors.

I’m thinking about problems of "orders from overseas", "how should I sell my work", "how should I translate lines of character to English and show on pages because they are written by Japanese" and so on. I will need a time for preparation of resolving these problems for a while. I will announce selling manga (English version) on this journal when it will be ready.

Great somebody else got their hands on short stories (because I am currenlty wokring on a 23-page-prject also full and anyone else wants to do 200 page novels which get cancelled and you always need to wait for more to happen for forever)

i know, I saw that in the art category list. I was just wondering if you made the screen-tones yourself or if you downloaded them from somewhere, or maybe if you used some kind of tutorial to make your own?

I downloaded some tones. But I made other tones by myself. You also can make it easily by Photoshop. ^^

I'd be interested since I love these characters. I'll be waiting until you get everything fixed, and hopefully by then I'll have a job (gosh darn its hard to get a first job here right now given how many people are job searching) and be able to get a copy.

Wow, that's quite a low price. Are you sure about it? But on the other hand cheap things are sold easier and thus can gain more fame.

Yes. it may be a bit too low price. But I think I will sell it online -perhaps digital style-, I won't need to pay a cost of print and paper, because postage from Japan to Europe and America is very expensive. Digital is very convenient in this case. Its digital one will be sold by English language. But if somebody hope to get original version of Japanese language, I will send it by post-send.

Well, for a digital copy of it 6$ surely isn't little but there would be no shipping cost. Also, for the shipping you could actually charge the costumer for it, so you won't have to pay for it. But I'm excited about being able to read your self-made manga.
Also you're only selling an English and a Japanese version of it aren't you?

Unfortunately Japanese Yen is very strong, US-Dollar and Euro is very weak for some time now...

That's understandable though with the crisis wreaking over Europe and the US. =/ I kinda doubt that the Euro crisis will stop anytime soon though but it might stabilize in a few years.

Hm... would be nice if you could have help with the translations, although people would need to know both Japanese and English.

Hey, have you used IllustStudio?
It great to draw characters, and those brush will help you a lot, and it also Japanese.
If you want it, I can give you a free one (well is ENG patch one)
