Description
I needed a pair of durable daytime goggles, and the Number Twos were too uncomfortable, hence came #3. These have the same brass eyepieces, but with thick leather inserts.Related content

Come to think of it, none of the parts for these things are salvage, so if you have the means to do a bit of rudimentary cutting and shaping (I get by with an old electric band saw with a multipurpose blade, a Dremel with a cyllindrical cutting bit and a hand drill) you could probably make a pair just like them.

The rims are made from a pair of brass rimmed rubber doorstops (Home Depot, ~$4 US ea.,) and the nosepiece and shielding on the sides are cut and cold shaped from a brass kickplate that has been growing smaller bit by bit as I find new things to make.

Thanks for the info
And an extra tip for you: click "reply" next to comments on your work and other places - else the person you're responding to, such as me, won't see anything in their message centre. It's pure coincidence that I saw your comment, I'm afraid

Very interesting eye cups...Where did you get them, if I may ask?
