Description
This is a picture I took a while ago, of my cat, Mr. Grey....Recently we found out he had some medical problems...He had liver cancer....And was getting very sick.....
We decided to put him into surgery, to see if there was anything the Vet could do to help him...Because there was a chance that she could....
The cancer had spread throughout his liver...and there was no way they could treat it...
Mr. Grey had to be put to sleep...
I know DeviantArt might not like me posting this...because they just might not approve...but I needed to post this because Mr. Grey meant a lot to me...And I will miss him greatly....
We originally adopted Mr.Grey a few years ago when he was a stray...He was very wild and didn't trust as at all....And after a while...He began to realize that we loved him and wanted to care for him...And he ended up being one of the sweetest cats you could ever have met....
Yesterday, I looked at the chair that Mr.Grey used to always sit in...And I realized...He won't be there to sit in it anymore....
I'm going to miss all of the wonderful little quirks that he had...Like wagging his tail when he was excited and the way he'd go up and bonk your head....
He will always be here in my heart and I love him....
Sleep well Mr. Grey....My sweetheart....

I know how heartbreaking it can be to lose a beloved pet. Not long ago, I lost two in the same year. O_-; I still haven't recovered from either one.
The cat is very handsome, and its a lovely picture. I'm sure the admins at DA don't mind. Thank you for sharing.

I'm so sorry for you Kels, I know how hard it is. I still remember my cat Tai, and I keep thinking I'm gonna see him sitting on the couch every morning.
It makes me think of how much I'm gonna miss Princess, she's getting old and has lots of trouble getting around the house. I'm gonna be devastated, so I really feel your pain and hope you can cheer up eventually.

Poor Kelsey, and poor Mr. Grey. But he's in a better place, and he left knowing you loved him to the very last minute, and still do. I'm quite sure that Mr. Grey was the one who flirted with my hand, and had an oily but extremely soft head. I found out from Pat, and I was really upset to hear about it. I hope that you'll be okay soon. I'm crying right now. I'm really sorry to hear about it, and I'm quite sad to hear about it.

*nods* yeah....i'm positive he's in a better place...and he knows that we all love him very much.....i'll be alright soon...i think.....today, as you know, we got a symptahy card from the vets....and it was so nice/kind that i started to cry again....

He was one of those animals with a lot of personality wasn't he.
Ya can see it in the pic. Some really have almost humanlike expressions on their faces. Our dog used to. He'd always know how to cheer me up when I was down. with sarcastic pokes and nips.
Take a while before ya get used to the fact that they're not there when ya get home
But I guess that's also a confirmation of how special they were and how much they meant to you.
Hang in there Shen. keep enjoying life like he would and make him proud

This reminds me of when I had to have my cat, Charlie put to sleep. When the vet gave me back the box, I couldn't keep my composure anymore and I broke down and cried. Later, they sent me a sympathy card. I thought that was such a nice thing.

Thank you very much....Yeah...they put Mr.Grey in a box too...I couldn't bare to say good-bye to the box...I wanted to see him...And he looked so peaceful...Just like he was sleeping....
