Ashley should have been bi, they haven't had on bi human female squadmate in the Mass Effect games. You always start with two human squadmates who are male and female and straight.

Bioware originally intended her to be bi in mass effect 1 but they dumped it, same with kaidan...someome even told that the dialogue leading to the romance were still in game so you could go down the dialogue path but on the end it wont be a romance :/

I know, but they didn't change it in Mass Effect 3 like they did with Kaiden. I think it was dumb that he could suddenly bi, and yet Ashley couldn't. To this day they haven't had one bi human female squadmate in the whole Mass Effect series. Cora from Andromeda really pissed me off, because I was hoping they would have finally changed it up. But it ended up being the same thing, two human squadmates, male and female, both straight only.
