I think a real life parallel to this, is the quantity of clothes determines how covered a person feels. for example. someone with a large teeshirt and nothing else, may feel less uncomfortable about their nethers being bare. than someone who wears shorts, but has no top on. the teeshirt covers more surface area, and even though there are areas that are uncovered, they don't feel as bare because more fabric is touching their body.Β
in miss centaur's case. a swimsuit, no matter how it is worn, is covering less overall, so she "feels" naked. but the full outfit at the end. she feels covered, she feels clothed. even though technicallyΒ her back end is no longer covered.Β
From the other end of the spectrum, you could compare this to how clothes designed to be sexy, may make a person look more attractive than if they were strictly nude.Β
