I'm not defending anything, but I have to ask, does them being demons weigh in on your opinion? Like if for example she was like over 1000? Is it specifically that the setting is school? If it was.. mm, I guess just set in the general demon world and she was just considered short, would it be different then?
Again, I'm not calling you out, I'm not in favour of pedo, but personally I see a short demon and a tall demon and it just happens to be school setting. Besides, if she a senior she'd be 18. Also, isn't it still normal for students to crush on teachers?

Thanks for the response, I was just curious cuz I usually chalk it up to "anime rules" and never think about that stuff all that much, especially because they're demons, I don't see them as normal human logic. I suppose that's the problem, I'm so used to it! :S

attraction to prepubescent characters seems pretty pedo to me. making a childlike character to be an object of attraction is gross in my opinion, and the 100+ years old trope is often added in to silence people uncomfortable by it. and senior doesn't mean 18+. i will still be 16 my senior year in highscool, and graduate at age 17. i think height differences are cute tbh but she looks pretty young and thats what bothers me.

Ahh ok, just getting another opinion in the matter. I guess I always view these things and think "anime rules" and not reality since it's fantasy. I guess if it was college or workplace that'd be easier to explain? Either way, hopefully this doesn't blow up too much and Shep's team learns from this instead.

I like the design of the student council girl, she seems rather human compared to some of the others. I wonder what she is, creature-wise. Hmm...... Maybe she's a vampire, or a Futakuchi-onna. Or, just a random passing character we'll never see again, haha ^^

She is a high school student, so she is probably over 15. Therefore, the only thing that contradicts the law here is that she is a student and he is her teacher. And no pedophilia, at least - in terms of legality.

The age of consent in Japan is 13 years (unlimited relationships - 20), in China - 14, in Taiwan -16. That why I am talking about the rule of law.
