ABOUT THE ART:I've been seeing a lot of Venom fan art lately and I just wanted to show everyone what I can do with Venom as an artist! Plus, I recently saw "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" movie and it was GREAT! AWESOME! SPECTACULAR! AMAZING! SENSATIONAL! It's the BEST Spider-Man film yet! I don't care what anyone says! Anyway, my inspiration to draw Venom like this comes from the 2000 video game, "Spider-Man" for Nintendo 64, PlayStation and other platforms. This version of Venom\Eddie Brock was HILARIOUS! Anyone who has ever played the game knows that! Venom was over the top with the wise cracks and quips! I really wish his sense of humor made it into the comics! Speaking of which, that's where the inspiration for the title came from too! There's a cutscene where Venom actually suggests to Spider-Man that they should, "Surf the web", to find the bad guys. Later on, at the Daily Bugle, Venom excitedly points at a computer saying, "Surf the web! Surf the web!" Cracks me up every time. If you wanna see these cool cutscenes, they're everywhere on YouTube.

Wait . . . is the title a reference to Spider-Man on the PSX where they go to the library and Venom is like mock typing on a comp and then symbiotes attack?

Kickin' abstract fanart.
Don't see too much fanart in this vein.

"Abstract fan art?"
There's not a lot of fanart that takes the kind of creative liberties you have. Most are either realisitic, concept/altart, source-faithful or cartoonish. But here now you submit this wild and fun pic that still clearly IDs the subject but also takes the art in a new direction.
And that's a good thing.

Why thank you! That really means a lot and I appreciate it. Also, I prolly should've asked that last question in a more detailed manner, huh.
