This is so beautiful! Definitely worth the DD. In fact, I'd say it's better than a lot of DDs I've seen. The emotion in the piece is very powerful and well-conveyed through the posture of the different aspects and the symbolic details. Thank you for sharing your story—it made the painting all the deeper. Also, as others have mentioned, it has the beautiful allure of historic paintings. You truly are a magnificent artist, and I wish you luck with both your art and your personal struggles.

At first glance, I thought it was something the pre-Raphaellites painted. But then I saw that it was New. Well, simply put; Wow, it's beautiful and poignant.
The pre-Raphaellites would have been proud to see their legacy still lives.

I second the challenge of "Learning to leave" dear sistar, in recent weeks I too had to leave behind people who........truly were not fruitful, supporting, true in my life. For good. And for better I'm humilified to admit. I knew them for four years in assumed friendship that was truly....not a friendship to begin with. Just a smoke screen that ..a part of me knew was there...Was just afraid to let go of due to my misunderstanding of loneliness. And even fear of being true to what real friendship, real relationships really are. I...am grateful to be free of this mirage, but there is sadness, in mirror of your's dear one....A twinge of sadness of letting go of people I assumed I knew, and letting go of that part of me that gave constantly without receiving in return for so long.....Yet even in the sadness there are nuggets of wisdom and dear little joys...There is strength to begin life anew, this time letting the canvas of our lives become new artworks, new journeys unfolding into dear beauty....I bless you on your's~

I had the same thing happen to me a while back... It took until just recently for me to realize it wasn't friendship at all. I was being taken advantage of, and abused online.

And yes that's slight similar to me too, I knew them via Youtube, a roleplay community although I was able to meet them in rl. We were young teens, they and I. Yet we were complete opposites, however respectfully. I adore(d) spirituality and learning things, and truly they did not. That's where slivers of judgment crept in and really......messed up a lot of things that I am still healing from. But with humbleness especially with remembering what is healthy for my path, my life. Remembering who truly care especially too beyond a screen.

I think you've done an amazing job of conveying your feelings here. I know that pain- at least, I know the pain of having something that you've always wanted, only to have it taken away. And this is a great visual representation of those emotions.

I can relate to this, even though my longest relationship was about 2 years... but did feel the same way as much well as lot of my hard decisions to turn my life aways from it's previous forms corpse...
