I colour with a mix of crayola and derwents (i use derwent studio) and to make it look 'smooth' i colour over the top with white XD

Yeah, i do copy pictures, but everyone starts out like that in a way...i'm not comfortable to draw from memory yet XD

Yeah it was really hard defining it, such small tiny lines on his face, with just one wrong move i could have stuffed up the whole picture XD

I have only seen the 1st series of Dragonball Z so i dont really know much and i havent seen it since i was a kid, the only DBZ type stuff ive seen lately is Dragonball Z abridged XD

Like i said...i dont trace...i refuse to trace...my computer is a flat screen...and this picture is drawn on an A3 piece of paper...yes i copied it but i did NOT trace

I still don't agree with copying. It doesn't teach anything other than to be a xerox.
If you want to improve then just recreate an image from memory rather than observing how lines are arranged. It's a real show of how skilled you are.

yeah i suppose theres a point, but i'll be able to get to that stage one day but for now i'll try to keep improving so i dont have to copy and i can just do it from memory
