So, I've had this close to finished since... oh... March? Never had the ambition to get that ridiculous damask down till today. I mean, I totally cheated and had a template underleath for that, but it was still so tedious XD Its the only cheat I've ever done mind you, but I'm okay with that- this would never see the light of... the internet... had I not cheated on the damn wallpaper, lol!Anyways, Holmes is BORED! So he decorates the wall in creatively patriotic, though socially disturbing ways, then flops down to seeth in a most unconventional manner. I've always liked to think he'd treat furniture so. I mean, the man makes himself pillow nests. This is hardly stranger. Perhaps less comforatable, but certainly not boring. And he seems to think well when uncomfortable anyways- wether he's starving himself or not sleeping for days. Perhaps he wanted a head rush. Lets just hope he doesn't get the drugs out soon. He looks a little tempted.
Isn't my hand gun beautiful? Lol, I couldn't find reference at the time, for that angle. So I guessed *shrug*
And, I've decided thats his mouse brown dressing gown. Cause isn't that the best color description ever? Heehee! Oh Watson...

Have you ever seen the show Once Upon A Time, you might like the character Mr. Gold, he is Rumpelstiltskin in part of the show. but its filmed in Canada if that's any consolation?

I've never actually have seen that- its one of the many I have on my mental list to give a go sometime though. I don't actaully have chanels though, so Itd have to wait till I looked it up or someone lent me a copy or something. Not that I have time these days anyways XD

In my mind, its amazing and one of my OTP's is in the show (Its Rumpelstiltskin and Belle)and I understand about time, I have been at camp for a week and am going back tomorrow

I could stare at that amazing detail for an hour! the detail of his dressing gown is beautiful, and that gun! I could never do that without a reference! even his feet and his hands are perfect! You know, one thing I think I like so much about your Homes, even though from past experience I have never been a huge fan of anything but realism, is that you manage somehow to make it ridiculously realistic! the biology of your Holmes is practically exactly what I imagined!
Ever considered illustrating some of his stories and trying to get them published?

I'm very glad you like my Holmes- I've pretty much gotten down how I personally imagine him, and its wonderful to hear when others find him similar to their own version. Thats one of the things I love about the fanart here- seeing other peoples headcanons 
Lol, yep, the scars are on purpose. I love adding random details, just for fun. Its even better when people notice them- glad you did!
I've sort of considered doing comic versions of the canon- just to amuse myself really. Cause the thing with comoics is, you always see the artist improve drastically, which would be nice- then maybe someday I could, indeed, publish! Soooo much work involved though, and I'm so slow XD Would take years! lol!

Yeah, I've only posted a few entirely headcanon things on DA, because Basil Rathbone is so much like I imagined Holmes, half my Holmes drawings end up looking like him.
