Noya shares quite a few traits with her trainer, Nina - primarily their stubborness, rudeness and fearless attitude. Noya likes to rush head-first into fights, with little to regard to what or who she is fighting. Despite the two of them being stubborn as mules, the pokemon and trainer get along like peas in a pod; most of the time.

Although she doesn't often enforce herself as the team's leader, Nina's other pokemon tend to obey Noya without argument - fearful of the reckless abandon that the noivern throws herself into fights with.

A major quirk/flaw in Noya is that she is food-aggressive, and cannot be trusted to eat without Nina around others (the brat bat will 100% chase everyone away from their meals, or at least try to). Even her trainer has to be careful and slow when trying to pry something out of Noya's mouth, lest she end up with a nasty nip. Her intense love for fruit can often lead to trouble, as Noya doesn't see the difference between fruit fruit and fruit pokemon.
