Well, the scrawls and scribbles on Cassava's scrolls certainly weren't glowing when she first made them. Curiosity at the helm, the griffon picked up her length of fabric; having once re-purposed the bandage to quickly write down some medical research notes; and peered deeply into its luminescent lettering. What could have caused this phenomena?

Her children were far less eager to investigate the scroll but the two youngsters refused to leave the room, wanting to stay by each other's side against this possible threat. Yuca was far more ready than her sibling to confront the suspicious parchment, hissing at the symbols as they pulsed with an eerie light. Her younger brother Meco would much rather run to their room and hide under their nest, but if his sister was determined to stay, so was he.
