Its good to see you don't cover up the truth about the animation industry, like so many others do. very insightful for me as a studying student in animation.

Interesting!
how to solve problems such as the use of props? These are created in the preproduction of the show or displayed directly on the storyboard and are made later in the production of the chapter?
And I am intrigued that a calendar
could show one as an example?

I watched Fish Hooks for the first time even about a month ago. It is one of those cartoons an adult can love. It's so fantastic

What are the "legal notes" about?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

shermcohen In reply to AmbiguityArt [2011-09-27 07:55:11 +0000 UTC]

We often have to avoid things like names and titles and designs and concepts that may be construed to be under copyright from somebody else. There's a whole legal department that researches every little thing in the storyboards so the studio can avoid infringement lawsuits.

I still love storyboards regardless of that lol. It is a pain, but so much fun when you see the finished result.

shermcohen In reply to kapieren [2011-09-27 07:55:54 +0000 UTC]

Of course I love it too, but I thought it would be cool to show another side that usually never gets seen

kapieren In reply to shermcohen [2011-09-27 08:38:16 +0000 UTC]

Oh I don't deny that you love it, otherwise why do it? Haha. Yea, you may not remember me but last time we spoke (around last June) I've always wanted to do animation and storyboarding. Well one of my internships allowed me to do both; and good lord when I had to go through that editing process it was an eye opener. But it helped me affirm that animation is something I want to go back to school for and succeed in.

And it's always good to show the nitty gritty of any process.
