I hope Al can hear everything that's said honestly. Just having it lurk in the back of his mind but doesn't actually bring it up with Kai, pretending he never heard Seth say it and that Kai never denied it. Things would get kinda awkward in certain situations but Kai doesn't think Al knows and Al just really doesn't know how to bring it up and ask if that's how Kai actually feels about him.
