Description
By request, a quick walk through of how I draw eyes. This is actually how I do my eyes in under 2 mins. each - I will make a proper and detailed tutorial eventually.Note: this is stylized.
1. Draw the upper lash line.
2. Draw the lower lash line.
3. Draw the gooey bit in the corners.
4. Draw the eyelids. (pay attention to species & ethnicity)
5. Draw the outline for the iris (coloured bit)
6. Draw the pupil. (pay attention to lighting & mood)
7. Draw details such as lashes, waterline, blah.
Things to Remember:
Ethnicity, Eye(lid) shape, Pupil size, Eyelashes, Gender, Species, Age, Characters Mood.
* In the light, the pupils will contract (get smaller). Also when the character is experiencing aggression, or shock.
* In the dark, the pupils will dilate (get bigger). Also when the character is feeling attraction, high, and happy.
