I never saw Invader Zim cartoon until 2023. I only saw promotions and review of this cartoon at best.
The animation on Invader Zim cartoon has to be the most beautiful animation that I have ever seen. I love the combination of 2D and 3D animation. The best examples of very fluid 2D and 3D animation in Invader Zim are Battle of the Planets, The Wettening, and Dib's Wonderful Life of Doom.
The writing of Invader Zim is so refreshing. Every episode at least tries to bring in different premises. Even the weakest episodes of the show have something unique to them.
The characters are very memorable here. Zim is such a breath of fresh air when it comes to kids cartoons protagonists in general as he is a villain protagonist. Dib is such an amusing anti-hero. GIR is such a hilarious robot companion to Zim. Gaz is my least favorite character of the main cast but I still found her to be an entertaining emo girl.
Overall, Invader Zim is an amazing (9/10) cartoon. So close to be an outstanding (10/10) cartoon, but it is what it is. Invader Zim might be my new #1 favorite cartoon of all-time.
Update 1: I forgot to add Door to Door and FBI Warning of Doom episodes so I just added those episodes now.
