NAME:
Acid Spitter Xenomorph
NICKNAMES:
Spitters or Glowbugs
SPECIES:
Xenomorphs
UNIQUE FEATURES:
They have a special organ under their inner mouth that allows them to spit acid at foes. Their stripes also glow in the dark, as does the acid they spit. They have a heightened sense of smell, even more so then normal xenomorphs, to help them find prey in the dark. They also have spikes on their lower back and half way up the undersides of their fore arms, as well as only 2 tubes on their back.
COLOURS:
Black/dark yellowish grey with bright yellow stripes. On rare occasions they can have red or purple stripes but mainly yellow.

KG2-83
PLANET TYPE:
Tropical forests along with large mountains mountains, 80% of the planet is made up of water. Some of the mountains contain labyrinths of deep caves.
CLIMATE:
Tropical temperatures, average degrees a day is 35 Celsius.

THREAT:
Highly aggressive and have been know to be cannibalistic. Prey on anything that dares to enter their cave home. Not afraid of anything and tend to get themselves killed easily due to this.
INTELLIGENCE:
Normal xenomorph intelligence.
WEAKNESSES:
Very loyal and protective over members of their hive, they don't survive well outside of a hive environment. They are also prone to exploading upon death if shot due to the amount of acid in their bodies. Are easier to kill with a gun then most other xenos.

BRIEF HISTORY:
No one really knows why these xenomorphs came to be. Some think it was a failed experiment of either human or predator origin while others think it was just a genetic mutation and natural selection took over. They are few in number, and only about 20-30 remain due to a sickness that killed most of their hive. Not much is known about this species of xenomorph as no one can get close enough to.
