Description
Vex's dripping cell within the hive gets filled up when thePraetorian enters, for what he only suspects is simple routine.
The light excremental substance that chains him to the wall
holds every part of his limbs back from shifting forward. So he
cannot step away as the Praetorian kneels down front of his
face, and continues on inspecting his body from head to toe.

Hm, the praetorian is checking out this new prisoner. It now knows that its part of it's kin somehow, the appearance, the pheromones is giving off and it can also pick the scent of its most common enemy. The hunters. They know them genetically passed down from one generation to the next! The Praetorian will then give this information to the queen and welcome Vex to the hive and have him serve the queen as the royal guard. Vex might be chosen to be a possible mate for the Queen! Something that Vex would rather die then become a servant to the queen!
If Vex was chosen by the queen to be its mate then the Praetorian might challenge him for that title! If that were to happen!
Or they might place an egg in front him to see if the parasite within will react to Vex's presence! A lot of questions still looms in the air! o.o

Ah yes one question. Will his daughter come to look for him sometime in the near future? Maybe somehow she will track her father's ship last coordinates to that planet?

And maybe, Ra cares very much for her dad but Vex have been trying to be off the radar, so that she would not find him.

True, Ra is very understanding and acceptable Yaut'ja, and she knew about the infecting limbs of him so she probably saw this coming.
And I have for some time planed out to draw some small series or comics with father and daughter moments with Vex & Ra as she grew up, and he raised her as a single parent.

Oh yes, everyone would love to see that! Father and daughter moment together. The peaceful times leading up to the infection that started a chain of events leading to his capture! >.<
Im pretty sure in the past, Vex saw the infection on his arm and tried to rip it off.
This sorta reminds of this story that I've read from the Dragonlance Dhamon saga.
Dhamon's arm got covered with this black scale that startred to spread like a virus and he eventually transformed into a Black Dragon! Way cool! Wish that happened to me

But that is true, some say that all the Xenomorphs in the hive are female, but the Queen is the only fertile one.
Some mean they are all male but the Queen, and that means they go through these different stages before becoming female.
The Preatorian is at the last "male stage" or "infertile female stage".
