AL (the dark-gray to the left) is a Pre-King, so he's male.
Al (the light-gray to the right) is... err... well he's a normal Drone, and there are different theories about them all being female and only the Queen is fertile, or they are all male but when they go up the ranks of the Hive they gender-change when becoming a Queen.
