Hands and paws off, please.

So, here's the batch of adoptables I said I was going to upload. They are the result of my newly created custom horse breed, the Neonar.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ EVERYTHING WRITTEN HERE. If you start asking me questions that are already answered in the text below, your comment will be ignored. Help keep me a sane person, ok?

As the creator of the breed, I'd like to be able to keep an eye on how it develops on dA. Because of this I will be setting up a journal with a breed registry, where you can apply to register your creation. If your Neonar is unregistered (and I haven't gotten a chance to see it), or if it gets rejected by me for some reason, it will *not* be considered a "real Neonar". It will merely be a copy. I do not mean to sound harsh, but this is the way I see it. Please respect my wishes.
Once the registry is up and running, you will be free to create your own Neonar, if you find the breed interesting.

Anyway, let's get to the important part here, shall we?

General info regarding the adoptables

The six individuals featured as adoptables are part of the "Original Seven" (these six + my mare Ca'Lixxa ), and were the first examples of the breed discovered within a limited time and area. The "Original Seven" are foundation Neonars, and will found the lineage of any future "true Neonars" (check the breed sheet if confused over true Neonars).

Other individuals of the breed have also been found after the discovery of the "Seven". Constant research is being done, regarding the origins of this breed, and the reason as to why these colorful horses keeps popping up, almost out of nowhere around the world.

ADOPTION GUIDELINES

One adoptable per person. If you have several favs you may still apply for all of them, but you can only get one in the end.

Let me know the number and/or name of any design(s) you'd like to adopt. It doesn't matter if others have an interest in the same one.

Draw the character. You may draw the other side of the horse as you imagine it, as long as it "fits" their original design.

NO USE OF FREE LINEARTS!!!

Try putting some effort into your design. When I see your finished piece, I will have a look at the rest of your gallery, to get a feel of your art style.

You may change gender and body build.

Think of name, personality and a short background story. No need for anything complex. I prefer not having to read a novel.

You have until March 20th to complete your picture, and post a link to it in a comment here (not on my front page. I will ignore that comment - and your design - if you do).

By March 21st I will decide on who gets the adoptables. You do not have to be a proffessional artist in any way. I will look at the character as a whole, not just the design. I want the entire character to fit my own vision of a Neonar.

I would appreciate if you'd give me credit for the breed concept and original design.

Sorry if I'm sounding a bit overprotective... Anyway, I think that's all for now. Oh yeah... Have fun!
