I wanted to practice a bit on some dinosaur skeleton, so I can draw my undead dragons better. I decided to draw an Allosaurus from my encyclopedia, but I got bored and ended up with this
(head, pelvis and tail are parts of the encyclopedia picture, the rest is just some made-up random anatomy)

I think learning things that can help you with art from school (other than art classes or something, which are too obvious) is always really fun. It's worked for me a few times with different classes.
I hope the AP biology I'm gonna be taking soon will be one of them like yours was for you.

Thank you! There will be more undead dragons in the future but they take a looooot of time to draw (and combined with my lazy personality, the result is catastrophic)

I like it, but I've never seen an anatomy were the bones are that much thicker in the lower body than they are in the wings. Don't get me wrong, this is awesome, just try to scale down the dino bits to be leaner next time. Submit Comment

Well, the head and the lower body are bigger because when I was drawing them, I had an Allosourus skeleton in front of me.
When I drew in the chest and wings I made them thinner and I didn't pay much attention to the difference between upper and lower body.
I'll keep that in mind next time, thank you!

Undead things are fun to draw but they're also a challenge, because fantasy is not enough and you just need to put together some real-world skeleton details to make it at least a bit believable.
And this one is not completely dead, it would be too...morbid.
