I really love this whole series waaaaaay too much and I wish this couple was featured in the cartoon series (hence why I ALSO used some of the cartoon series color schemes instead of the show. its also more pleasing to the eye imo. ) plus some references to one of my fav episodes of the Netflix series, cause why not. WOOP. sorry if the writings hard to see I wasn't thinking when I did it . I also decided to kinda inject some of my own style into the cu style because apparently i cant really do it perfectly ( like seriously props to the people who animate these characters like...i feel like its harder to figure out movement and such with these simple shapes than anything) but ! This looks great, I do want her in Season 3, I read that the series was going to continue from the movie. I want Edith now, I was upset when they made Mr. Krupp fall for Miss Eui (The French teacher).

Yeah. But people are happy just because George and Harold sound like kids than college students, but I thin Melvin sounds all right since his movie voice actor can have a kid impression.

I think the reason why they had adults in the movie was because they couldn't find any child actors that were well-known enough

And if Edith's original voice actress couldn't make it for the show I know why: she had to voice Trixie the Triceratops for Toy Story 4, it was confirmed that she would be back! Plus, I know where George's original voice actor was since he couldn't make it for the Netflix series too...

There is no way the original actress is coming back, because most of the netflix series spin offs of DreamWorks movies never include the original actors

Yes definitely! I kept trying to make theories as to WHY she wasnt in the series at all, and the only thing i could think of was to make ms yewh the love interest in the one episode but it just doesnt explain my theyd throw edith out completely π€·ββοΈ Definitely hoping for more of her!

I think that there are 2 main reasons why Edith didnβt show up in Season 1:
1.) The show is based more on the books than the movie.
2.) The show was still in production by the time that the movie was released in theaters, and Iβm pretty sure that all the Season 1 episodes had already been written by then, so they didnβt have time to add her in.

Plus, since Dav Pilkey confirmed on Instagram that both a second AND third season have been greenlit for the series so far, there is still a chance that Edith might show up!
