Just a thought, but are you going to exclusively use Godzilla monsters for Kaijira's story, or have you considered branching out to other famous Kaiju stories like Cloverfield or Pacific Rim?

I think that's a great idea! Maybe there are some smaller monsters or problems where this hybrid form is more appropriate.

There was a sketch you did a while back of a more anthropomorphic version of the supposed hybrid form that I thought looked much better than this interpretation. Otherwise it just looks like Ayane wearing some leather costume interpretation of godzilla. A little more monster features (small snout, more reptilian look though retaining a humanoid shape) would have been the better choice overall.

Kaijira will not always fight huge Kaijus. There are other threats that that she can do in a smaller scale without causing too much damage or put innocent lives in danger when she grows.

It looks great John.She certainly looks powerful and is radiating attitude.I can't tell for certain however if that's a costume she's wearing or it's her hide.
