I'm having a hard time distinguishing it. I don't think it's real, but with these things, you can never tell. o.O
I like how you've taken an ordinary subject matter and made it something more with this execution. The clarity is great and the square format works well in terms of balance, even though the frame seems to be sliced into two at an angle...

Yep, this is definitely real. I had to almost climb in to the enclosure for the shot
Someone earlier suggested that I should change the crop so there's less space above the little guy's head and gives more focus on the subject. What do you think?

haha i know! they're sad... all those poor animals locked up but at the same time it's kind of protecting them. but yea i know! penguins are so cute! haha they're always in tuxedos!!

I don't have enough to say to make it an official critique, but I like the use of black-and-white for this shot. It's very appropriate, given the subject. You've captured a nice moment, too. I found, quite by accident when I scrolled down, that I like it even better when it's (even more?) cropped down from the top, to really emphasize the subject. Overall, very nice image.
