This.is.my.girl! I love rogue and this embodiment of Rogue is my favorite. Good ol Jim Lee/Chris Clairmont (sp?) days of Marvel when the x-men split into two teams. Rogueeee -drool- Ok, my comic geek is showing <3 I can't help but show my love for this sassy southern gal. This is an ATC (2.5 x 3.5) and was amazingly fun to do

Yay Rogue! I had such a geek-crush on her in my teen years. She was fairly new then and didn't have that particular costume yet but of all her various incarnations, I like this costume best. I think it's the jacket and gloves that do it for me.
While I admire Jim Lee's work, many artists aped his style so much that it became... I dunno... watered down? Of that era, it was truly Lee and Silvestri that stood as icons, I do give them respect in that right. Others such as Liefield or McFarlane I don't much care for (especially Liefield).
As for this piece: Light, fun, and well done. Once again, love your framing. Excellent work yet again!

Man, seeing Rogue like this brings back so many fond memories of the Blue and Gold Teams. Too bad her Toy Biz action figure was so rare though.
