Ta-da! Here's "me" in Maplestory. Dual blade ftw lol. It's been a while since I've done something Maplestory related. After seeing the challenge, I figured it'd be fun to attempt a Maplestory-ish style again. I took a look back at the Maplestory work I did years ago and uhhh.... It was pretty bad. xD

There was a lot of sketching involved for this one - so much that the paper I was using was pretty worn out by the time I came up with a final draft lol (the braid crown was especially hard to do). Also no lower legs because... they never turned out right. The process proceeded as normal - lineart tracing then base coloring. Tbh, it was a little sloppily done - it's hard to focus in the summer heat with no A/C ;-; For the shading and highlights, I actually did a (kinda) new thing. The colors don't have such a hard edge anymore, almost like a blending effect. It's definitely not amazing, but I think it looks good for now. I'll definitely need to experiment with that more. ^^
