Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace

Info: In High School, people make assumptions about a person by the way they dress, act, or talk, and they make these assumptions from far away, not even bothering to try and know the person. That’s the curse that Derrick Burron has fallen under. A kind boy, when he wants to be, with a wealth of knowledge and writing skills considered to be one of the best of his generation, which have earned him over a dozen national awards, and despite the fact that a lot of student’s know this, they still refuse to approach Derrick, and his appearence has nothing to do with it.

Derrick’s condition, an extremely rare disease passed down from his father’s side of the family, prevent’s him from controling his demon form. This fact is openly known in the school for safetly purposes, and it’s the reason they avoid him like the plauge. When Derrick was a child, the disease became evident when he threw a temper tantrum and changed. Once he had calmed down and had changed back, his mother rushed Derrick to the hospital to find out how it had happened. When he was diagnosed, she recieved the tragic news that there was no cure, and that the only way to surpress it was with a special seal. He gave her the address of a witch doctor who could do it and she took her son to him, and after five hours of waiting, her precious baby boy had the seal forever printed into his skin.

The seal stayed strong for most of Derrick’s life, that is, until his freshman year. A not so bright senior, the quarterback Brick Lett, was picking on Derrick, calling him a pussy, shoving him around, and eventually, giving him a black eye, which was the final straw for Derrick. The seal broke due to Derrick’s anger gettinh the best of him and if it weren’t for the WormWood staff being prepared for such an occasion, the ten foot tall black widow would have killed the poor idiot.

Despite the fact that Derrick is extremely dangerous and has to watch his temper at all times, the boy has made a few friends, the first of which being a nerdy little boy named Simmon Calamar, the Karaken. Derrick met Simmon one day while he was trying not to be seen in the hentai section of Borders. When he ran into Simmon, and noticed that the two of them had the same taste for lolita maids, they started talking. Eventually, their discussion of scantily clad maids migrated to conversations on books, movies, video games, all kinds of shit. And that is how Derrick made his first friend.

When Derrick befriended Simmion, it wasn’t long before he became friends with one of Simmon’s buddies, Kaito Mizushima, the Shojo. Derrick met Kaikai much differently then he did Simmon; with a volleyball to the eye. Once the PE mishap was out of the way, Derrick and Simmon quickly became friends, and it wasn’t long before the school recognized the three as Team Pervert.

The third friend he made, he didn’t meet until his sophomore year; a young, shy farm girl with white sheep ears and a cute tail by the name of Bo. When he first met Bo, Derrick sympathized with her because she was the new girl at school, and had yet to make a friend. He knew what that was like. It wasn’t long before Derrick developed a crush on the young sheep, which is something that her older brother does NOT approve of.

Bo’s older brother, Trent, is an overprotective, idiotic musclehead who thinks that Derrick only looks at Bo as if she’s something to eat. Derrick does not like it, because it takes a lot to lower his guard around people, family included, and when he does, he really opens up. He does this everytime he tries to ask Bo out on a date, but Trent always shows up, and because his guard is still down, he doesn’t think straight and his emotions take over, which often ends in a fight between the Black Sheep and the Spider. This is the cause of several of Derrick’s in school transformations.

The third person that Derrick has grown close to recently is Sullivan Archfield, the muscular, hairy, gay teen on the wrestling team. Derrick doesn’t enjoy the fact that he is becoming friends with the boy, because he knows Sully is half-happiness spirit, and knows that people are easily drawn to them. Though, Derrick has noticed that Sully doesn’t miss use his abilities like most do, so he feels as he might be able to trust him.

Derrick also eats bugs because he’s a spider so most people don’t ask him to share his food.

Yeah, I so haven't been putting him off.
