Without giving away any spoilers, I can just say that he is very... different. He is a little distant from humans, never tries to blend in, always keeps his emotional distance (even from his companion). He rambles a lot, complains, and acts like he does not care: whereas in reality he is still concerned with the well-being of humanity (as well as the universe), and friendship does mean a lot to him (you'll see what I mean when you watch THAT episode). Also, he's Scottish! ^_^
And your Whooves is ridiculously adorable!
P.S. And Peter Capaldi does an amazing job as The Doctor.

There were the two episodes where a lot of companions of the doctor worked together (Rose,Donna etc...) to fight against the Daleks, and there were these sad last episodes where the master came back and the doctor regenerated in the 11th doctor
