Amazing detail. This reminds me of a segment from Hunchback of Notre Dame when Hugo starts talking about how much memories can mean to a mother and in the end, he starts talking about baby shoes. Absolutely beautiful artwork.

I love how everything in this drawing is exactly as it would be in real life. There are no lines, only value contrast and not only is the value contrast amazing but it seems that the drawing itself is expressing contrast in it's own way. I'm assuming it's representing the contrast in growth? I also love how you signed your work with an eraser. .
Anyways, excellent, EXCELLENT work, something to aspire to.

My question is did he intend for a meaning? On some of his other great works he said what gave him insperation but on this one the mystery of why is pretty cool.....but great work from a great artist
