aww, that's too bad. It took me YEARS to convince my dad. He only let me have one once he met a really sweet rat at an event.

I've tried to convince my dad to get me a hamster but since my sister already had three guinea pigs he's always complaining that he can't get the "smell" out of his house, so I'm not aloud one xD

Yeah, I have two mice right now and they stink worse than when I had four rats in my room at one time! I don't think they'll let me have anymore.
Rats really don't smell unless you don't clean their cages for a month or two.
