DescriptionThis one is another song title.For those of you who have not been able to make it to my weekend streams, I've been working on reference sheets for Ardrius and for Zeke. Both of the reference sheets include fully painted portraits and while I did originally intend for the portraits to be viewed at a much smaller size, I figured they may be worth uploading on their own. So here you have it!

I love this piece a lot. When I came back onto your page, this was the first picture that stuck out to me because of his expression. You did really well making him look like a kind and intelligent creature. I love the shine that you have on the metal rings and the soft fluffy texture of the tassels 
I would like to make one observation (which I'm not saying should be changed or adjusted, it's just something that's sticking out to me as I'm studying this.) The special effect on the piece almost makes me wonder if the creature is see-through especially geared lower on the neck close to the bottom corner. I can't tell if you are trying to make it look like it's raining, (if so it'd be cool to see this guy look wetter), or if it's a special layer over the creature to create a unique flair. If that's the case, I'm almost wondering if it needs to be a little more pronounced. Or even have the effect just be on the wall paper behind him. The only reason that I'm saying this is because when I looked at this closer it made me wonder if that was on purpose or if it was a mistake. Super small, hardly noticeable, I'm just a nitpicker sort of thing.
Overall, I love this piece. It amazes me how you were able to get such a kind expression on his face without making him too cartooney. Great anatomy job as always

I work 3rd shift at a factory now, I make pretty good money. A couple more months or the end of summer I'll be able to move out on my own.

I do lurk some on DA, not as much as I used to, as you can tell lol. Once I get a graphics tablet I'll try to post more about Plonar. I did draw Adrien on some cardboard paper at work. I think I uploaded it here a while ago.

I like the face. Has a very large cranium....or at least it looks that way. Must mean its super smart! Also love the details in the background. Reminds me of the wallpaper you'd see in a super fancy mansion.

Thank you for the compliments! Yes I tried to get a whale-like texture for the skin because he has smooth skin and is semi-water dwelling. And thanks about the pattern! I've been making a custom pattern for each of my reference sheets to give them an individualistic flare
