OMGWTFI used to read these books all the time. I mean, that was like... forever ago... and I don't think I ever DID read the last two or three books... but I enjoyed them while I read them. Loved this series.
So... look. I drew it.
It's nothing special, just a quick little thing... but I'm busy as hell these days preparing to move to TN.
So nyah.

o.o That's awesome! More or less how I pictured them. I loved these books so much, but I never finished them (they stopped shipping them to England at around volume 38 or something and by the time internet buying became common I lost interest).

Man oh man, I loved those books so much! I never got to read the last four or five, which irked me. And now I'd have to re-read it, and I'm afraid I'll think it sucks now. I hate ruining things like that.

I like their expressions. They all sorta look like they're looking at each other (not sure if they actually are) except for Marco... He's off in his own world

Trust me, don't read the last set of books. KA Applegate had to end the series because she was following other projects rather than because she had a fully thought out ending in mind. It was a little disappointing by my standards.

Hehe! I loved this serious, too, I think I have all the books. But I didn't ever read the last four of them for some reason, I think I grew out of it. So I have no idea how it truly ended, I just know they lost and it was all sucky. X3!

Oh my GOD, it's "Animorphs"!
I used to read that series religiously as well when I was a kid. Would wait every month for the next one. That is, until "Everworld" came out, and I liked the way Applegate developed the characters better in that series, albeit it being rather short.
Anyway, awesome illustration. Don't see very many good fanart from Applegate's books. Too bad Tobias is only a hawk; I'd have loved to see an illustration of him in there instead of just being...so...hawk. But hey, it's your picture.

I just love the way you've captured their likenesses so perfectly. It's not often that book illustrations look this accurate to me, but you've got their personalities down so well just in their expressions and body positioning. Your Animorph art is a delight to look at.

Marco was always my favorite in the books, but you made Cassie look freaking awesome. I also think Rachel looks perfect.
For a moment I couldn't find Tobias at all. Then when I noticed him, I thought, "Awesome. Just like it should be." Tobias had a tendency to shrink out of the spotlight. He even looks like he's slouching out of view.
