Shinga has been my online handle for like almost six or seven years now(... which is just... weird). She was a Gargoyles fan character in the beginning, very cool-headed and... well, flat. No personality whatsoever(despite those CRAZY ASS ANIME BANGS WTF)... Uh... but she DID have a sword. (Sword not included in drawing). This first version of Shinga actually didn't see much of the online world, as I developed her before I started posting any art online.

The first Shinga online was actually the second version, which is the dull brown gargoyle with the shorts. She was a stubborn, willful character from Ireland(cause everyone knows Ireland makes people cooler)... and she still had a sword but it wasn't as fancy. She knew some magic, but didn't use it much, and had a tendancy to speak her mind very brashly. Why I drew her so shy looking here I have no idea.

The third version was a HUGE change. Suddenly she wasn't a Gargoyle, but a mixed breed of like three different races all in one. She was sexy, bold and mischevious, with a fierce motherly streak. And yes, she WAS a mother, of two... before I decided the stories I wrote her in just sucked altogether. So ignore those two kids. They don't exist anymore. Twilight Zone shit there, man. Totally.

And in the front would be the present Shinga. Basically she's what the blue-bombshell Shinga would end up like if she lived another couple thousand years. A claustrophobic hermit who has powerful magic but never uses it unless its absolutely needed. A pretty full past, but no angsting about it, as it was a long time ago and there's no sense in crying about it. I want to write this version of Shinga into some collection of short stories like I did the blue Shinga, except without the overwhelming suck.

So there you go. Every version of Shinga ever. I hope this is it. No more after this.
