Anyway, how you drew a hand tutorial without copious amounts of hand-related punnery is quite admirable.
I also dig the "Alrighty kids, drawing is frickin' scary but we'll get through this together!" approach. And the obligatory chinchilla. And the wonderfully non-daunting, non-overly-complicated system you use. I will have to try this.

Very good tutorial. I've been drawing hands from reference ever since sophomore year, since I'd be in class and come up with no ideas for something to draw; I'd resort to just looking at my left hand and drawing every little wrinkle xD
I guess after graduating, I sort of kicked the habit, and my hand-drawing skills had deteriorated. But now, after looking at this tutorial, everything seems so much simpler. My hands are coming out better than before, and not even with as much reference as before. One of the bigger pains is getting the finger lengths just right, especially if they're bent/posed in a difficult perspective.
