Kay this is officially the new best thing I've ever drawn. Ever.

So before you go any further, if you view this, damn, would I appreciate it if you left a comment. Thank you.

So, I guess this all started with me walking in circles waiting for the bus and listening to this song Walcott by Vampire Weekend, when all of a sudden this weird idea popped into my mind: why not draw Nico a year or two older than he is in TTC? And then I was like, hey, there's this awesome Sasuke pose in Naruto Volume One I could modify a little. And then I wanted to add Sal and Connor, and then I wanted to draw fancy clocks, and...

Well, things just fell into place.

I wasn't feeling well today, and I didn't want to play during gym fourth period, so I sat out on the bleachers and drew this out. By the time I had almost everything except for the shadings and the ceiling finished, I knew that this was a massive triumph.

So have some older TTC main protagonists, even though they don't look it. Nico has some sort of parka- it's still brown, though, cuz I love his gray-shirt-brown-jacket combo, just a lighter shade. Connor has a vest, scarfy scarf, and- le gasp- actual non-dweeby pants. Sal ditched the hat for a ring and a tiny touch of makeup, and a striped shirt.

... Don't expect this scene to ever happen in TTC, though. Why? Because it won't go that long into the future, and... Well, some people know. It just can't happen. Impossible.

It's just a random scene with a surprisingly good background (for my skill level, at least) that I absolutely love.
