(i know too much mistakes everywhere, at the beginning i was going to add more details, but then i got lazy.. as always...)

I don't understand, is this to glorify Himmler or condemn him?

I'm not to glorifing Himmler... he did bad things, wrong decisions... but i'm not condemning him at all, he doesnt need help with that, he has now enought of a bad repution... i just wanted to draw him like thinking about his past and about he did.
I drew this on paper first, did the lineart with a pen, then i scaned it and added the color and textures with photoshop cs5...

Well its powerful I can tell you that much. I recomend doing an oil paint version which would probably come out wunderbar if you are familiar with the media.

I actually love oils but i'm out of turpentine and oil-brushes LOL since a few years ago and have been lazy to go and buy some... 've been doing more acrylic stuff since then ...
But it's a good point... hope to do a nice attepmt with traditional art soon

I like what you drew him standing on. So there are roses in his hand...and blood? What did he do to get the blood on his hands? And why is one eye visible and the other not? A good concept, but I think it would look better if he is in his uniform. Unless this is to make it look like he's at a funeral or something...which it looks like.

As i was saying to ~TwigcyL above, the original drawing was supossed to show more characters on the drawing, on the left side of Himmler an old Marga and young Gudrun, and by the right side a pregnant Hedwig... (and in that part is when the flowers have a meaning, the ones of the left are wither simbolizing Heini's marriage and the one's of the right his new love to his mistress Hedwig) And the blood was part of his loyalty to the Fuhrer and the actions he take as Reichfuhrer
And there's more concept beyond, but i was very lazy to finish the drawing, so this is an "unfinished" idea.
