They're twins but complete opposites and grown apart a lot of the years growing up.
Though Al is the oldest of them, while young he use to be a complete shy coward and only opened up to his family and especially Shuala.

But after Shuala stood up against some bullies when they were 8. Al realized he shouldnt fear anything if wanted to be a cop someday, drastically changed to stand up against others.
Such as getting into a fight with some bullies and unintentionally helped Interpol arrest their school principal for crimes.

Shuala grown with natural instincts skills learning to climb before even walking and gets into everything up high. Her favorite place to hide as a child was always on top of the armwoire(a wardrobe or movable cabinet) but after falling from it during a game of Cops and Robbers she's kept her feet firmly on the ground since their father Sly, soon went missing after Shuala decided to tag along a heist causing big tension between Sly and Carm.

After Sly been missing for 7 years, both them been in homeschooling under Carmelita and their hired tutors. Alastar surpassed alot to his knowledge even working under Carmelita every now and then .

Shuala was more the slacker yet curious on other things. Shuala was driven to search for her father when the Cooper Cane appears to a museum. She goes steal back the Cooper Cane with Konani, adoptive daughter of Bentley and soon Elian Sova, a Eurasian Eagle Owl. The three forming the new Cooper CAne and search for clues to lead to Slys whereabouts.

Alastar keeps a watchful eye following them around the world. Eventually coming across a lovely gal name Emalita. As Shuala met Luis Wolfgang. But after things began to shift. Alastar continued work in Paris in studying to be in Interpol while Shuala continued on to look for Sly.
