28 weeks; Arguments.

August 28th 2017 - Hannah's POV.
"LEWIS!" Hannah yelled for the third time from the sofa, her brows furrowed tightly in annoyance as she lay in front of a fan. It was the hottest day of the year and Hannah had spent it laying on the sofa with a fan in front of her face, too hot and sore to move. Lewis came back into the room, carrying two glasses of lemonade for them both.
"Here you go.." He said softly, passing her the drink as he took up his position on the floor once again. Hannah sat herself up as she sipped on the cold lemonade, sighing softly in relief. They sat in silence for a while, the heat so overwhelming it was too much effort to even talk. Lewis was beginning to drift off to sleep as Hannah gave a loud gasp as a hand shot to her stomach.
"What's going on?!" Lewis panicked, suddenly wide awake though Hannah simply flopped back onto the sofa with a groan.
"I'm fed up of this! Fucking kicks, tiredness, weight gain and swollen.. everything! Everything just bloody hurts!" She muttered, her hands covering her face. Lewis sighed softly, shifting her legs a little so he could sit beside her.
"C'mon now.." He breathed, stroking her hair gently. "That's just our little'un stretching out, he or she doesn't mean any harm." He assured her.
"It's easy for you to say." Hannah grumbled as she moved her hands, her eyes narrowed at him. Lewis avoided her eyes and removed his hands from her hair, looking instead at his lap.
"We'll have a cute little baby by the end of it all Hannah. You only have 12 weeks left, and your hormones probably just make that seem a lot worse than it is." He replied, though he instantly regretted his words as they left his mouth.
"Lewis Alan Brindley. I have had your bloody irritating kid inside of me for over half a year now and you have the fucking cheek to act as if I'm overexaggerating?!" She practically growled, her cheeks flushing red in anger, "My hormones aren't causing the pain this kid is causing me so don't you dare use that excuse! You are not helping at all, you're an idiot." She added before pushing herself up from the sofa with a huff. Lewis let out a soft sigh and opened his mouth to speak again but Hannah stopped him.
"Just go out. Somewhere, anywhere, I really don't give a shit right now. Just go." She muttered before she waddled off upstairs.

Lewis' POV.
Lewis sat on the sofa for a few moments, silent from both shock and guilt. He knew he shouldn't have said what he did and he felt horrible about it. He pushed himself up off the sofa before putting his shoes on and leaving the apartment as Hannah told him to do. He made his way out into the streets of Bristol, walking for a little while until he reached the shops. He searched around for a little while until he found what he was looking for. He was determined to make it up to her.

Hannah's POV.
As the click of the front door sounded Hannah burst into tears from where she sat in the bathroom. She felt terrible for yelling at Lewis. Maybe he was right, maybe she was overreacting? Or maybe she was right for yelling? Either way, she still felt like a horrible person.
"Goddammit Hannah!" She breathed to herself, "You're an idiot.."
She pulled herself up from the floor, wiping her eyes as she made her way from the bathroom to the undecorated nursery. She pushed a couple of boxes aside until she had made a clear pathway to the beanbag where she sat down, making herself comfortable in the center of it. She placed her hands on her bump, sighing softly.
"I'm sorry you had to hear me get angry.." She whispered softly, smiling as she gained a softer kick in response, "I love your daddy, he's just.. bad with his words I guess.." She grinned. Hannah yawned lightly, laying her head down on the beanbag as her eyelids fluttered.
"Daddy'll be back soon.." She breathed before she drifted off to sleep.

Lewis' POV.
"Mrs Brindley?.." He called softly through the apartment as he set his shopping bags down on the counter. He carefully crept upstairs, checking every room, beginning to get worried as he didn't find her in the bedroom or bathroom. Finally, he checked the nursery and almost didn't see her hidden behind a pile of boxes on the beanbag. He grinned softly as he watched her sleeping form for a few moments before he darted off downstairs.
Within minutes he was back upstairs in the bathroom, setting candles around the bathroom as the water filled the bath. He waited for the bath to finish running before sprinkling a few rose petals into the water, grinning at his work. He left the bathroom, returning to the nursery.
"Han?.." He whispered softly though she was still sound asleep. He chuckled quietly to himself as he realised she probably tired herself out with the yelling so he decided to settle beside her for a while, gently playing with her hair.
"Lew?.." A quiet voice sounded as blue eyes flickered open to see the man sitting in front of her. Lewis grinned softly as her mouth opened to begin to apologise, tears welling in her eyes. He leant down, gently kissing her lips.
"It's alright. I'm the idiot here.." He chuckled, "And no crying, you're going to relax tonight." He smiled as he lifted her from the beanbag, resulting in a giggle from Hannah's lips.
"What are you doing?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around his neck with a soft smile.
"Oh, you'll see.." He grinned.

Hannah's POV.
"Oh Lewis~" Hannah chirped as she saw the bathroom, grinning, "I don't deserve this.."
"You have my annoying kid inside of you, of course you deserve it.." He joked, setting her down carefully so she could undress. Hannah rolled her eyes as she pulled off her vest-top and shorts as well as her underwear before slipping into the warm water with a sigh of relief.
"You are amazing Lewis.." She breathed, leaning back in the water and closing her eyes for a few moments before Lewis tapped her shoulder lightly.
"C'mon, sit forward so I can get in.." He chuckled, waiting for her to move before he slid in behind her and his hands made their way to her back, beginning to give her a gentle massage. His hands worked away at her back, moving in soft circles, releasing as much pressure as they could from Hannah's aching back. Hannah sighed softly as her eyes closed again and she moved closer to his touch, enjoying his affection.
"You're a good husband y'know.." Hannah murmured, "A bit bad with your words but still.." She joked, turning her head over her shoulder for a second to grin cheekily at him. Lewis simply chuckled and pressed slightly harder on her back, making sure to get rid of any aches of pains. Hannah simply gasped at this, grinning.
The massage continued for a while before Hannah laid back in his arms, completely relaxed.
"I love you~" She murmured, resulting in a light laughter from Lewis.
"I love you too. Now, let's get you out before you turn into a wrinkled pug.." He chuckled, carefully getting out before her and wrapping himself in a dressing gown, before lifting her out and doing the same for her.
"I can do stuff myself Lewis.." She remarked though it wasn't a protest; she enjoyed being pampered every now and then. Lewis lifted her up in his arms again before he explained.
"I just felt like I owed you at least a night of pampering so I'm not letting you do anything tonight, I'm your personal assistant if you want to put it that way." He grinned, kissing her forehead as he took her to the bedroom. He sat her down on the bed before sitting behind her, beginning to gently brush and dry her hair. After, he began to carefully plait her hair with great precision, which only made Hannah giggle.
"Lew?" Hannah said, her voice gentle.
"Yes?"
"If we have a little girl, I'm making you do this with her. You can do this, and I'll teach her to be a badass.." She smiled at the thought, her hands by her bump. Lewis nodded in response before he raised another question.
"And if it's a boy?" He asked.
"Then you can teach him fashion sense, not that you have any, and I can teach him to be badass." She said with a soft grin, laying down in Lewis' arms. His hands crept to where Hannah's lay on her stomach, their fingers linking as their hands ran over the bump, a method they'd learnt that calmed their child.
"I'm sorry.." Lewis breathed, "I feel bad for doing this to you.." He chuckled.
"Don't. I mean, we'll just have another me to deal with. It won't be too bad.." Hannah remarked with a tired yet triumphant smile.
